The 6 Days Circuit from Tangier to Marrakech via Merzouga is a comprehensive journey that covers Morocco’s diverse landscapes. This tour offers a unique blend of history, culture, and adventure.

This 6-day tour takes you through the diverse landscapes and rich history of Morocco, starting from Tangier and ending in Marrakech. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Tangier to Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City.” Wander through its vibrant streets adorned with blue-washed buildings, visit the Kasbah, and enjoy the stunning views of the Rif Mountains. After an overnight stay, the journey continues to the cultural city of Fes, where you’ll explore the ancient medina, visit the famous Al Quaraouiyine University, and discover the intricate leather tanneries.

On Day 4, head south to the desert of Merzouga, where you’ll experience the Sahara by camel ride. As you ride through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, reach a traditional desert camp, where you can enjoy a night under the stars. The next day, you’ll visit the Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon in the High Atlas Mountains, before heading towards Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has served as the backdrop for many films.

Your journey culminates in Marrakech, where you’ll explore the city’s vibrant souks, historical landmarks like the Bahia Palace, and the bustling Jemaa El Fna square. This tour offers a perfect blend of Moroccan culture, desert adventure, and picturesque landscapes, ending in one of Morocco’s most iconic cities.

  • Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

    From the Tangier airport or hotel, we pick you up and start driving through the Rif Mountains and the city of Tetouan to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains and the Mediterranean coast of northern Morocco until we reach Chefchaouan, one of the impressive towns at the foot of the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen Medina (the old part of the city), with its blue color, has become one of the best cities to visit in Morocco, surrounded by many arts, craft shops, restaurants in the square and cafes.

  • Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez

    After breakfast at the Riad, our journey begins towards Volubilis, crossing the Rif Mountains and a beautiful oak forest, we will stop at Volubilis to discover the Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history from BC, and then we will drive to the city of Meknes (founded in the 17th century) where we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon it is time to visit the historical sites of Medina, such as Bab el Mansour, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later we head to the city of Fez, where we will spend the night.

  • Day 3: Fez - Fez

    At 8:00 am, after breakfast, we will begin our guided tour of the medina. The medina of Fez was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981 and is one of the largest walled cities in the world. It was founded in the year 790 AD. We will be discovering and walking through the narrow streets full of shops with fresh fruit, a great variety of spices, Berber carpets and many other objects of Moroccan art. We will visit the Royal Palace, the tanners, the potters and also the oldest university in the world, created before Oxford and the Sorbonne. We will have lunch in the center of the medina, in a typical restaurant. After lunch, we will complete the visit to the medina and return to your hotel around 4:00 pm.

  • Day 4: Fez - Ifran - Midelt - Merzouga Desert

    Departure in the morning after breakfast, we start the day towards the Sahara from the Riad, crossing near the Ifran National Park. We will make a break in the city of Ifran, to enjoy its beauty and take memorable photos, then we will head towards Azrou to see the monkeys / Berber monkeys in the cedar forest and then we will continue to Midelt for lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the Tizi N Telghomt pass, which is 1907 meters high, to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of the Ziz gorges, which offer incredible photographic opportunities. Later we will make a stop at a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. The journey continues to Merzouga passing through Aoufous and Erfoud, as soon as we reach the erg chebbi dunes, we prepare for the experience of riding camels in the dunes for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset.

  • Day 5: Merzouga - Todgha Gorges - Dades Gorges

    If you get up early enough, the Sahara desert offers an incredible sunrise. Afterwards, you can calmly return by camel to your hotel at the edge of the dunes, and appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes with the first lights. After breakfast and shower, we will leave for the Todra Gorges, known as an important destination for climbers. The highest and narrowest gorges in the west in Morocco, where we can walk a bit before heading to the Dades Valley.

  • Day 6: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

    We wake up before sunrise to watch the sunrise. Camel ride back to the hotel, After breakfast, we say goodbye to the desert and head north through the Ziz Valley taking advantage of the freshness of the Meski blue spring where you can relax. Stop planned in Midelt for lunch and then continue to Fez, passing through Ifrane "the Moroccan Switzerland" we arrived in Fez where we stayed in Riad in the medina.
