This 6-day family-friendly desert tour from Marrakech explores the nomadic culture and the dunes of Merzouga. It includes visits to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Ouarzazate film studios, Dades and Todra Gorges, and the vast Draa Valley. You’ll spend a night under the stars in a Berber luxury tent.

Arrival in Marrakech. We will meet you at the airport with a sign bearing the name of the agency: TODO MARRUECOS TOURS. Transfer to your accommodation. Depending on the time of arrival, we can take a short guided tour of the old city of Marrakech with a local guide (optional).
After breakfast, we head to Ouarzazate via the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2,260 meters). We visit Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Films like Gladiator, Babel, and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed here.
We continue through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs and visit the Amredhyle Kasbah in Skoura. After a photo stop in Kelaat M’gouna, we continue to the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we travel to Tinghir and visit the Todra Gorge with its beautiful palm groves. After lunch in Tinejdad, we continue to Merzouga. You’ll have tea and time to enjoy the hotel pool. Leave your bags at the hotel and set off on a 1-hour camel ride into the dunes to reach the camp. Enjoy a sunset view, dinner, live music around a campfire, and stargazing. Overnight in Berber tents made of camel hair, just like those used by desert nomads.
Wake early to enjoy the sunrise. Return by camel to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. After resting, we head to Khamlia village, of Malian origin, where we enjoy Gnawa music and tea. Return to the hotel for lunch and a free afternoon. Before sunset, we drive to the highest dune to watch the sunset. Dinner followed by a Berber music show with drums. Overnight at Riad Chebbi with dinner and breakfast included.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise. After breakfast and shower at the hotel, we head back via a different route. We pass through the Tafilalet Palm Grove and the town of Rissani (origin of the Alaouite dynasty), then drive through Alnif and the Anti-Atlas Mountains. We visit Tazarine, N’kob, and finally the vast Draa Valley. We cross the Anti-Atlas again to Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios. We drive back to Marrakech, enjoying the scenic landscapes and Berber villages. Arrival in Marrakech around 5:00 PM.
Free time in Marrakech. Transfer to the airport 2 hours before your scheduled flight. End of our service.
