On this 3-day desert tour, you will journey from Marrakech to Merzouga, crossing the Atlas Mountains, the Draa Valley, and the vast Sahara Desert. Each day is filled with picturesque landscapes, historic sites, and unique cultural experiences. Starting with a visit to the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah and winding through the Draa Valley, you will spend your first night in Zagora. Day 2 brings you to the stunning Todra Gorge and Merzouga, where you will ride camels into the desert and sleep under the stars in a traditional Berber camp. On the final day, you’ll explore the desert and surrounding areas, heading back to Marrakech after an incredible adventure.

On the first day; we leave Marrakesh behind to hit the road towards Ouarzazate. On the way we cross the striking Atlas Mountains, crossing through the stunning Tizi n'Tichka peak, 2,260 meters high. At the midpoint of the journey, we will arrive to Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah, the most impressive fortified city in all Morocco, and backdrop to movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. The road then continues to Ouarzazate where we will stop for seeing the Kasbah Taourirt. Taking “The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" towards kalaat Magouna we will then cross the Valley of Roses to finally arrive at the Dades canyons, where we will spend the night.•

Day 2: Dades Canyon - Toudgha Canyon - Merzouga After breakfast we set off towards the Dades Valley, crossing on the way the incredible Toudgha Canyons where we will stay for a bit to enjoy the impressive landscape. Next, we move on in the direction of Merzouga Dunes, we will stop for lunch before arriving. Having arrived in Merzouga, we will swap our motor vehicles for camels to immerse ourselves in the desert, and finish the day by a camel ride to the camp where we will spend the night. Here, sound tracked by desert silence, you will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in all Morocco.
After enjoying the amazing sunrise among the sand dunes and having breakfast, you ride back your Camels to the Auberge. You will travel back directly to Marrakech and have few stops on the way. Enjoying your lunch then continue to the red city of Marrakech over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 meters in altitude). Arrival to Marrakech and Drop off in your accommodation in Marrakech.

The camel ride takes you into the desert dunes for an unforgettable experience. It is a gentle ride but can last up to an hour each way. You’ll have the chance to witness a stunning desert sunrise and sunset.
