This 5-day tour takes you deep into the heart of Morocco’s diverse terrains. From Marrakech, you’ll drive through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at famous landmarks like Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site, and the Todra Gorge. You’ll journey through vast palm groves, valleys, and the immense desert, where you’ll take a camel trek into Merzouga’s golden dunes. After spending a magical night in a desert camp, continue to discover more of Morocco’s historical sites, like Kasbah Taourirt, before heading back to Marrakech. Departure from Marrakech at 8:00 AM, driving towards the High Atlas Mountains. You’ll pass through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with breathtaking views of the valleys and Berber villages. Stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and famous film location, to explore the kasbah and its history. After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa," and visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Overnight stay in a comfortable hotel or guesthouse in Ouarzazate.
On the second day, we head towards Skoura, where you’ll explore the palm groves and kasbahs of the region. Afterward, continue to the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic landscapes, and then on to the Todra Gorge, a natural wonder with towering cliffs. Take time to explore the gorge before continuing to your accommodation, where you’ll spend the night. Enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner and relax in the tranquil surroundings.
On the third day, journey through the beautiful Ziz Valley and its palm oasis, heading towards the Merzouga Desert. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and enjoy a camel ride into the Sahara. As you travel into the desert dunes, you’ll be treated to incredible views and the opportunity to watch the sunset over the dunes. Arrive at your Berber desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, music, and a night under the stars.
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the desert dunes before returning to the village of Merzouga on camels. After breakfast, start your journey back to Marrakech. En route, visit the town of Rissani, known for its ancient kasbahs and souks, then pass through the Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves and fortified kasbahs. Continue your journey through the Atlas Mountains, reaching Marrakech by the late evening.
