Embark on an unforgettable 8-day journey through Morocco’s imperial cities and the captivating Sahara Desert. Starting from the bustling city of Marrakech, you’ll travel through the Atlas Mountains and visit iconic sites such as Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate. After spending a night in the desert, explore Fes, known for its medieval medina, and Meknes with its royal monuments. Visit Rabat, the capital, before heading to Tangier to end your journey with a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty.
Marrakech: Hotel | Riad
Arrive in Marrakech, the vibrant "Red City" of Morocco. After checking into your hotel or riad, spend the day exploring the bustling souks, historic landmarks, and famous squares such as Jemaa el-Fna. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque and Bahia Palace. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and stay overnight in Marrakech.
After breakfast, depart Marrakech and travel through the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the Atlas Mountains, offering stunning views of Berber villages. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its kasbahs and as a film location for movies like Gladiator. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Visit Kasbah Taourirt before checking into your accommodation. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, depart for Merzouga. Travel through the Draa Valley and pass by Berber villages and palm groves. Once in Merzouga, embark on a camel trek through the golden sand dunes of the Sahara. Watch the sunset and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at a desert camp. Spend the night under the stars in the desert camp.
Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga on camelback. After breakfast, depart for Todra Gorge, known for its towering cliffs and scenic views. Continue through the Dades Valley, famous for its impressive rock formations. Check into your accommodation for the night. Overnight stay in Dades Valley.
After breakfast, head towards Fes. Stop for lunch in Ouarzazate and visit Kasbah Taourirt before continuing your journey. You will pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains and small Berber towns along the way. Arrive in Fes by evening and check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Fes.
The next day, we will wake up very early to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, we will head towards Ouarzazate where we will visit Kasbah Taurirt, then continue towards the Atlas mountains, have a lunch stop, then return to Marrakech via the Tizi N’tichka pass. You will arrive at your hotel or Riad in Marrakech in the afternoon around 6:00 p.m., ending the trip at the same point where it started. End of our services.
After breakfast, travel to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Visit the famous Bab Mansour gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the royal stables. Continue to Rabat, the capital city, where you will visit the Hassan Tower, the Royal Palace, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Enjoy a walk along the beach and visit the city’s gardens. Check into your hotel in Rabat. Overnight stay in Rabat.
On your final day, head towards Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, and stroll along the Corniche for views of the Atlantic Ocean. Continue to Tangier, where your tour will end. Explore the city’s famous sites, including the Kasbah and the American Legation Museum, before your departure.
