Itinerary

Day 1 - Casablanca – Rabat

We’ll meet you at the Casablanca airport to welcome you and transfer you to your first night’s accommodation in Rabat. Depending on your arrival time, we’ll take advantage of a visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca.

The largest mosque in Africa, the Hassan II Mosque, with its square, green-tiled minaret reaching 200 meters in height, is the second largest in the Islamic world, after Mecca in Saudi Arabia. It was designed by French architect Michel Pinseau, the same architect who designed the Moroccan pavilion at the World’s Fair in Seville. We then continue to Rabat, the country’s capital, a 1-hour drive.

Overnight & breakfast.

Day 2 - Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, visit Rabat: Mausoleum of Hassan II, Hassan Tower, and the Oudaya Kasbah (old quarter). Travel north to the blue town Chefchaouen, set in the only intercontinental natural park. White-and-blue houses, mountain scenery, local crafts, and a tranquil atmosphere invite you to wander and lose yourself in its lanes.
Overnight in hotel/riad, breakfast.

Day 3 - Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

Breakfast, then drive through the Rif and oak forests to Volubilis to explore the Roman ruins and learn pre-Islamic Moroccan history. Continue to Meknes (17th c.) for lunch and visit Bab el Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Afternoon transfer to Fez.
