A journey that departs from Fez and ends in Marrakech by way of the Sahara Desert (Erg Chebbi). We will cross the Middle Atlas Mountains—with cedar forests, valleys, passes, gorges, dunes, and historic villages—and visit fortresses such as the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. The excursion includes a camel ride to haimas set in the middle of the dunes, where we will spend the night. There you will enjoy an unforgettable experience: sunset, live music, and the vast starry sky.

After breakfast, depart from your riad/hotel in Fez toward Ifrane. We cross the cedar forest of Azrou, stopping to see and photograph the monkeys that live there, then continue through the impressive Middle Atlas landscape to Midelt (lunch stop). Next, we head to the Ziz Valley, pausing to view the palm grove and villages. Passing Errachidia and Erfoud, we reach Merzouga (Erg Chebbi). After a cup of tea, mount camels for a 1-hour ride to admire the spectacular sunset over the high dunes of Erg Chebbi. After dinner, enjoy traditional Berber music while watching the stars and crescent moon in the stunning Sahara. Overnight in camp with dinner and breakfast included.
Before sunrise, your guide will wake you to climb the dunes and witness the sun emerging on the horizon. After breakfast, ride camels back to the edge of the dunes. We depart for Erfoud, famous for fossilized marble workshops, and continue to Touroug, reaching the Todra Valley for lunch. Then we visit the Todra Gorge, a canyon with enormous vertical walls—paradise for climbers and a unique site. We take a 30-minute walk to enjoy the gorge calmly. In the afternoon, we continue to the Dades Valley. Dinner, breakfast, and overnight in a guesthouse.
After breakfast, take a short walk in the Dades Gorge before leaving for Marrakech. We follow the Dades Valley through El Kelaa M’Gouna, the Valley of the Roses, and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, where we see the Kasbah of Taourirt. Then we continue to the village of Ait Ben Haddou. You will have time to explore this famous UNESCO site, which has appeared in many films such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. We then cross the impressive High Atlas landscapes and arrive in Marrakech around 6 p.m., ending our service.
