It was founded in 790 AD. We will explore the narrow streets filled with shops selling fresh fruit, a wide variety of spices, Berber carpets, and many other Moroccan artifacts.
We will visit the Royal Palace, the tanneries, the potters, and also the oldest university in the world, established before Oxford and the Sorbonne.
We will have lunch in the heart of the medina at a traditional restaurant. After lunch, we will complete our tour of the medina and return to your hotel around 4:00 PM.

Day 4 - Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert.

After breakfast, we’ll depart for the Middle Atlas Mountains, visiting Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” We’ll then pass through Azrou, “The Rock,” a Berber village where we’ll see monkeys and have lunch. We’ll continue our journey towards Midelt, taking the Tizi Talghem pass at an altitude of 1907 meters. We’ll arrive in Errachidia, passing through Tafilalet, and continue to the Erfoud palm grove, heading towards the Merzouga Desert. There, we’ll board camels that will take us into the heart of the desert.

Day 5 - Merzouga - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley

If you wake up early enough, the Sahara Desert offers an incredible sunrise. Afterward, you can leisurely return by camel to your hotel at the edge of the dunes and appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes in the first light. Then we head to Ksar Ait Ben Haddo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most visited site in the south. After the visit and lunch, to round off the spectacular day, we will follow the ancient caravan route that once connected the two cities through the Ounila Valley, where there are kasbahs built into caves, and which will also take us to the Kasbah of Telouet. We continue on to the red city of Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 meters). We arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon at 6:00 PM…

Day 7 - Marrakech guided tour of the old town and Medina

After breakfast, we will begin our tour. Marrakech was founded in 1062, boasts numerous UNESCO World Heritage monuments, and is one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, along with Meknes, Fez, and Rabat. It is a city of contrasts. Its bustling streets and labyrinthine souks (traditional markets) contrast sharply with the tranquility of its riads and gardens. We will begin our tour of Marrakech with a local guide who will reveal the secrets of Morocco’s second oldest city.

WE WILL VISIT:

– The Koutoubia Mosque: The minaret of this famous mosque is the great symbol of Marrakech. It is also the tallest building in the city and can be seen from various points throughout the capital.

– Jamaa el Fna Square: This is the city’s main square, where you’ll find everything from street food vendors and trendy cafes to game and juice stands, henna artists, snake charmers, musicians, dancers, and much more.

– Bahia Palace: Built in the late 19th century, it was intended to be the grandest palace of all time.
We’ll also explore the Medina and wander through the labyrinthine alleyways that make up Marrakech’s famous souk.
The afternoon is free.

Day 8 - Marrakech airport transfer

Breakfast, free time for a Hammam (traditional Mexican bath)… and transfer to the airport, arriving 2 hours before your flight.

End of our services.
