Discover the spectacular Ouzoud Waterfalls, the tallest in Morocco (110m), where reddish waters cascade in three levels among olive groves and playful macaques. Take a boat ride to the base of the falls, relax in the natural pools, or enjoy a lunch with panoramic views. This excursion from Marrakech blends nature, adventure, and Berber culture in a unique setting. Your tour starts at 9:00 am with pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. The drive takes approximately 3 hours, passing through varied landscapes, from plains to the Middle Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy a walk through the village of Ouzoud, exploring its green valley, orchards, traditional water mills, and meeting the local Berbers.

After picking you up from your hotel or Riad, we will depart for Ouarzazate. Along the way, we will cross the Atlas Mountains via the incredible Tizi N’Tichka Pass, at 2,260 meters above sea level. Shortly after crossing the High Atlas, we will arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an amazing fortified city where films such as Gladiator, Babel, and Lawrence of Arabia were shot.
After breakfast, we continue our journey toward Tinghir, taking the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” through Skoura, and then Kelaat M’Gouna, the capital of the Rose Valley, where we will stop for panoramic photos. We continue to the Todra Gorge, where we can admire the magnificent palm groves. Next, we stop for lunch in Tinjdad.
Afterwards, we head to the impressive Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, where we’ll enjoy tea and some free time by the pool, depending on the weather. We drop off our luggage and anything we won’t need in the desert at the Riad, then set off on a one-hour camel caravan to the desert camp. We’ll climb the dunes to watch the sunset.
Dinner will be served in the tents with live music and a bonfire, under a breathtaking starry sky. We arrive at the camp, located in a wild oasis, where we will stay overnight in the tents, experiencing the heart of the desert under a spectacular blanket of stars.
Today will be a full desert experience. We recommend waking up early to catch the beautiful sunrise over the Erg Chebbi desert. After enjoying this unforgettable moment, have breakfast and begin the 4×4 adventure across the Erg Chebbi dunes. We will explore the vast sand desert, home to Morocco’s Great Dune, over 250 meters high, and follow tracks once part of the old Paris-Dakar route, with the mountains bordering Algeria in the background. We will stop at the Tissardmine oasis, where fossils can still be found in the region, and continue to a nomadic settlement to learn about their lifestyle and customs. Later, we will stop at a panoramic viewpoint to admire the Erg Chebbi in its entirety.
Next, we head to the village of Khamlia, originally from Mali, where we can relax with a cup of tea while enjoying a short spiritual Gnawa music performance.
After lunch, return to the hotel to rest and enjoy the pool, terraces, and dune views. (Optional) At 4:00 pm, we can prepare for an adventurous quad bike ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by the sunset.

We will wake up early to enjoy a sunrise in the middle of the desert dunes. After experiencing this magical moment, we will take the camels to reach a hotel where we can shower and have breakfast.
On the return to Ouarzazate, we will take a different route. Passing through the Tafilalet Palm Grove and the town of Rissani (the origin of the Alaouite dynasty and former capital of the Alaouite sultans), we will reach Anif, where we will take the road crossing the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Marveling at the shapes and colors of these mountains, we will arrive at Tazarine (an important Berber town), then N’kob, and finally the Draa Valley with its astonishing palm groves.
In the afternoon, we will cross the Anti-Atlas (1,660 meters high) heading to Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night in a Riad/Kasbah with dinner and breakfast included.
After breakfast, we will have time to visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios, the most important in Africa. Afterwards, we will travel to Marrakech, enjoying the beauty of the mountains dotted with Berber villages and the striking contrasts of the High Atlas along the way. We will arrive in Marrakech around 4:00 pm at your accommodation.
The afternoon is free to explore the markets, the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, and more.
Free time followed by transfer to the airport at the agreed time, arriving at least 2 hours before your return flight.
