In the afternoon, you will visit the famous Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. The excursion ends at 5:00 PM. Free time afterward.
After breakfast or airport pickup, we head to Casablanca to visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque. Then we continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we visit the Méchouar (Royal Palace walls), the Kasbah of the Udayas, and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan II. Overnight stay in Rabat.
After breakfast, we travel to Chefchaouen. A local Spanish-speaking guide will lead a walking tour of the white and blue city, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Explore local handicrafts and enjoy the peaceful charm of this picturesque town. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast, we drive through the Rif Mountains to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Next, we head to Meknes (17th-century imperial city), where we stop for lunch and visit historic sites such as Bab El Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. We then continue to Fez for overnight stay.
A full day exploring Fez, the oldest imperial city in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981. With a local guide, you will discover:
– The Royal Palace gates
– The tanneries and pottery workshops
– The world’s oldest university (Al-Qarawiyyin)
– Narrow medieval streets full of spice markets, artisan shops, and historic mosques
Lunch in a traditional restaurant in the medina. Return to the hotel around 4:00 PM. Optional dinner with show available.
After breakfast, we return to Marrakech through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We stop in:
– Ifrane: Known as the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’
– Azrou: To see wild Barbary macaques in the cedar forest
We stop for lunch on the way and continue to Marrakech, arriving around 5:00 PM. End of services.
