We begin our adventure with pick-up in Tangier and head toward the Rif Mountains. We stop in Tetouan, the enchanting “white city” with Andalusian influence—ideal for a first taste of authentic Morocco. We then continue to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city, where its painted alleyways and quiet squares invite you to wander. Enjoy the sunset from the Spanish Mosque before relaxing in a cozy riad.
After breakfast with mountain views, we depart for Meknes, the historic imperial city with its impressive Bab Mansour gate and El Hedim square. A few kilometers away, we explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with mosaics and arches that tell centuries of history. We continue to Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco, arriving in the afternoon and staying in a riad inside the medina.
A full day to uncover the secrets of Fez with a local guide. Explore the medieval medina (Fes el-Bali), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the ancient madrasas, the Karaouine Mosque (exterior), and the vibrant souks filled with handicrafts. Observe traditional work in the famous leather tanneries and enjoy a typical lunch in a medina restaurant. Free afternoon to explore at your own pace or rest in the riad.
After breakfast, we begin the return journey to Tangier, crossing the beautiful landscapes of the Rif Mountains. There will be stops along the way for photos and to enjoy the surroundings. Arrival in Tangier in the afternoon, with transfer to your hotel, airport, or port according to your onward travel plans.
